Background: Two Decision Makers, Different Approaches
This luxury hotel is a high-end independent hotel in Florida. Managed out of New York, there are two key decision makers, one in NY, one in the Florida. After several firms managed the Google Adwords account, we were selected to “clean it up” and try to bring management together.
Process: Optimized Copy, Focused Keywords
We opted to start from scratch and rebuilt several campaigns based on the client requirements. The campaigns were based on input from both decision makers. We were able to show through a testing process (turning campaigns on and off), where the sweet spot was for the property. With the client, we develop a focused list of keywords, develop appropriate copy and implemented Google certified tactics. Our keyword strategy focused on the brand and location.
We continuously monitored site traffic, ranking, and SEM performance as we fine-tuned the program even more.
Results: Low CPC, High CTR, and Higher Revenues
The numbers speak for themselves. The hotel saw a steady rise in their rankings driving cost down and bookings up.
